Dr. Pratistha Sachan, MS (ENT), is an esteemed ENT specialist known for her expertise in neuro-otology and vestibular disorders. At NESCON 2024, the 42nd National Conference of the Neuro-Otological & Equilibriometric Society of India, Dr. Pratistha Sachan presented a compelling case study focusing on a 26-year-old male patient who has experienced chronic dizziness and ocular disturbances since childhood. This significant medical event was organized by the Neuro-otology Unit of the Department of Neurosurgery at SGPGIMS, in collaboration with AOI Lucknow and UPAOI.

Dr. Pratistha Sachan case presentation delved into the complexities of diagnosing and treating a patient with a long history of dizziness triggered by eye movements, a condition referred to as “dancing eye.” The patient’s symptoms, including difficulty focusing vision and lightheadedness, have progressively worsened over time, particularly following a head trauma in 2016 that resulted in a subarachnoid hemorrhage. Dr. Sachan’s insights during NESCON 2024 emphasized the challenges in managing such neuro-otological conditions, highlighting the importance of thorough clinical evaluation and tailored therapeutic approaches.
